Awarded to: D. MacKinnon
"Willie, a class 1 official, was a strong committed member who continued to play an active role in the association long after he retired from active refereeing. He was the association's first president after it came under the auspices of the Scottish Football Association in 1945. Willie reckoned that senior listed officials were more often in the limelight and donated this trophy to be awarded to a deserving member of the association who is not on the senior list of referees."
Awarded to the member whose name did not appear on the Scottish Football Association Official List of Referees for the previous season and who during that season has given outstanding service to the Association, either in their capacity as a member or as a referee.
This award is voted upon by Executive Committee.
