New five-a-side trophy posted 11/3/2005
This year's John Dearie five-a-side football competition will take on special significance as there really will be something to play for. The teams, made up of association members, will be competing for a brand new trophy.
The original trophy, unlike its name sake was begining to show its age - well if truth be known, it had been showing signs of wear and tear for some time. Basically it was falling apart and the executive committee reckoned it was time to replace it.
